hello again from uk..can anyone show me a photograph of the correct switchgear on handlebars for a 57 bk?danke steve ich wunsch ich sprechen deutsch!

i'm not sure what you mean. the gearshift lever at the left side of the bike ?

because the BK does not have such a thing on the handlebar

Maybe do you mean the electrical switch for lite and horn?



This is part no. 4. Original this switch have an aluminium housing.

die 57er hatte schon das verchromte Stahlblechgehäuse mit der Schelle - mein Englisch ist nur leider noch schlimmer als mein Tanzfähigkeiten.

switchgear bedeuted eber schalthebel für das getriebe ...

nur passt da das handlebars (lenker) nicht dazu

es könnte wie gesagt auch der schalter oder die amaturen gemeint sein ..

This switch was also used in other east german bikes like AWO and SR2.
I know only the aluminium switches but the dimensions and the design are the same but they have a different attachment. The aluminium switch is fastened with a screw through the handlebar. The newer one will fastened with a clamp like on the photo.
